The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency said it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support place produced for intervention experiences a large inflow sassa status of likely beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all shoppers and raise use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
